FREE computer Access and Training

With an increasing number of services going online, it is becoming more and more essential for people to have computer access.

With this in mind we have collated a list of places in your local area which provide free internet access, mentoring, support and training to help you to navigate your way around the systems.

Computers in Libraries:

All 36 Northamptonshire libraries have computers with broadband internet access and on every Friday access is free for all. Standard printing charges still apply.

All of the libraries also offer free unlimited WiFi access throughout the week during all opening hours, for anyone to use, whether or not they are library members.

Some of the libraries have IT Buddy volunteers who can help teach you how to use a computer, browse the internet, fill out forms or write letters and various other computer related issues. Visit the events calendar to find out if this service is available at your local library.

Kettering - Tresham College:

As long as you can attend for 4 hours each week at times convenient to you, including evenings and Saturdays, then all of your computer lessons are absolutely free and you may receive a qualification at the end.
