We understand how important it is to furnish your home as cheaply as possible. These local charities and groups can give special discounts for people who are claiming benefits, some even offer furniture for free (depending on the circumstances).

Spencer Contact

Spencer contact seeks to relieve poverty and hardship in and around Northampton by supplying free second hand furniture.  Regardless of the reason for hardship, without discrimination.  Individuals and families are assisted with the provision of basic necessities, to help bring a level of comfort to their homes.

If you are in need of items, please ring them on the number below.  Their warehouse is not open to the public and appointments are only dealt with over the phone.  If you live outside the borough of Northampton please check thri villages covered page.

Phone lines are open Monday to Friday (Excluding Bank Holidays) between 9.30 and 4.30.  If they are unable to take your call leave a message and they will return your call as soon as possible.


The Furniture Re-use Network (FRN) supports over 300 re-use charities, helping them to reach vulnerable people in crisis, whilst reducing waste at the same time through the act of reuse
